Peer review process

Every article goes through a multi-stage assessment before publication.

  1. Submission and initial check. The editors check scope, formal requirements and ethics. At least two review files must accompany the submission.
  2. Expert review. Reviewers appointed by the editors assess the manuscript under double-anonymous review.
  3. Decision. The editors accept, return for revision or reject the article, with reasons.
  4. Revision and publication. Accepted articles are published in the next issue.

Reviewers assess relevance, novelty, methodology, support for conclusions, references and language. All documents are treated as confidential.
